Before you pitch anyone

What a journalist or host needs

A short bio in third person, under 100 words A longer bio for show notes, around 200 words Three topics you can talk about for thirty minutes each One opinion you hold that other people in your field do not A specific story with a beginning, a turn, and a result

Proof you can hand over

At least one article about you on a site you do not own At least one recorded interview a stranger can watch or hear Numbers or outcomes you are allowed to share publicly A client or customer who has agreed to be quoted

The live URL saved somewhere you can find it in ten seconds A dated PDF and screenshot in case the page changes An As Seen On badge on your website Clips cut from every interview and posted The link added to your outreach and your proposals
